About:
Evan Furness is an interdisciplinary artist and arts worker from rural Epekwitk/Prince Edward Island. His practice uses DIY approaches to image and bookmaking, audio, video and performance to create immersive, site-specific installations. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mount Allison University in 2018. His work has been supported by the PEI Arts Grants and Canada Council for the Arts and he has exhibited throughout Canada. Furness currently works as Season Producer for River Clyde Arts in New Glasgow, PE and is a co-founder of the Ch’town Zine Fest.
