About
Evan Furness (he/him), Season Producer is an interdisciplinary artist and arts worker from rural Epekwitk/Prince Edward Island. His practice uses DIY approaches to image and bookmaking, as well as audio, video and performance to create immersive, site-specific installations. His work relates to connections between rural experience and popular culture and has been exhibited across Canada. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mount Allison University in 2018. He has worked for artist-run-centres and art institutions such as Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre, This Town Is Small, and Confederation Centre Art Gallery and is one of the co-founders of Ch’town Zine Fest. In addition to his work in the visual arts, he has worked in film and television as a sound recordist, art director and production designer. When he is not working or spending time with friends or pets he is usually reading about his obsessions on Wikipedia. He has been Season Producer for River Clyde Arts since 2023.
